What You'll Do

Local driving jobs available near Harrisburg, PA

Feeser’s has immediate job openings for part-time and full-time dependable CDL A Delivery Truck Drivers to operate a tractor-trailer safely and efficiently and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations.

Daily Pre and Post trips of equipment
Keep track of hours of service on mobile ELD
Unload customer product utilizing a pump jack and hand truck
Utilize Feeser’s Point of Delivery system to scan customer products during delivery
Reconcile any product shorts or damages on the customer invoices and the POD system
Manage invoices, manifests, pick-up slips, and COD payments from customers

Requirements

A safety driven mindset
Successfully passing Feeser’s driving and knowledge proficiency tests
Maintenance of Feeser’s internal certification for driving and knowledge proficiency
Strong organizational and prioritization skills
Effective verbal and written communications skills
Comply with all Feeser’s policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
High level of professionalism and strong work ethic
The ability to adjust to sudden changes in customer demands or operational goals
