The Feeser’s Team is celebrating Spuds this National Potato Day. We love potatoes in any way, shape or form like fries doused with malt vinegar and salt on the Boardwalk in Summer to mashed with lots of cream and butter on a cold Winter’s night. The potato has played a role in world history from being cultivated in ancient Peru in 8,000 BC to Marie Antoinette wearing potato blossoms in her wig. Zesty Chorizo and Alfredo Loaded Fries
Crispy, seasoned spiral fries are laden with toppings of roasted red pepper, Parmesan cheese, and a generous ladle of spicy chorizo-infused cream sauce.
- McCain® Redstone Canyon® Skin-on Spiral Fries
- 1 Cup Alfredo Sauce
- ¼ Cup cooked Chorizo
- ¼ Cup diced roasted red peppers
- Parmesan cheese
Directions Prepare fries according to the cooking instructions. While they are cooking, mix the chorizo into warmed alfredo sauce. Spoon the sauce over the fries, sprinkle with red peppers, Parmesan cheese, and parsley.
Loaded Fries with Crab and Smoked Paprika Aioli
This potato and crab mixture provides the perfect blend of texture and taste.
- 5lb. Simplot® Simply Gold: Gold Straight Cut Fries, Skin On
- 20 oz. of crab meat, cooked and shredded
- 4 Tbsp. of fresh, chopped dill
- 1 tsp. of minced garlic
- 10 Tbsp. green onions, sliced thin
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp. lemon zest
- 9 oz. Hellmanns® Mayonnaise
- 2 1/2 tsp. Old Bay® Seasoning
- 1 tsp. smoked paprika
Directions Whisk together the mayonnaise, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, Old Bay® Seasoning, and smoked paprika. Store in a squeeze bottle for service. For each order, prepare 8 oz. of fries according to package instructions. Toss with 1/4 tsp. Old Bay® Seasoning. Place on a serving plate. Top with 2 oz. crab meat, 1 tsp. dill, and 1 Tbsp. green onion. Drizzle with 1 oz. prepared aioli and serve!
BBQ, Bacon, Mac & Cheese Chips
Crunchy cooked potato chips topped with house-made macaroni and cheese, crumbled bacon and sliced jalapeños.
- McCain® Fresh-Style Skin-on Ridge Chips
- 1 tbsp. BBQ spice
- 1/2 cup prepared mac and cheese
- 1/2 cup crumbled bacon
- Jalapeño slices
Directions Prepare chips according to cooking instructions and add BBQ spice. Top with mac and cheese, bacon, and jalapeño slices. Serve as a bar snack or appetizer. Add Barbequed Chicken and serve as a side!
